The Buffalo News, designated for the purposes of this post only the Buffalo Stupid News, decided in its infinite wisdom that three other submissions in their recent short-story contest are better than mine.
Well, fine. Harumph. Stupid newspaper.
The winning entries can be found here< here and here. I haven’t read them yet, but I was struck that the winner of the First Prize story claims to have never attempted writing before. So I got beat by a rookie. Curse you, Buffalo StuNews!
OK, I’m done whining now. I think.
