I've always been a fan of the Bob Seger version.
The storyline of the African version – with a link to the Mormons! – is quite compelling
I admit, this was a song I never cared that much for (too many who performed it seemed to want to turn it into the Christmas version of "Bolero"), but that NTNU version is pretty compelling.
