snakes – garter snakes, even.
and bats – especially in the house, although I've gained a certain expertise in dealing with them
Freak me out? I'm not sure I can't say any really freak me out. Monkeys, maybe. I really don't like monkeys. Just a couple of nights ago while we were watching TV I commented, "Another reason I'm really glad I live in America is that of all the animal pests we have to put up with, at least we don't have wild monkeys."
Tarantulas. Too big. Too hairy.
