I won't go quite so far as to say "love" but I did like Conrad Richter's "A Light in the Forest" a lot better when I re-read it as an adult than when I read it for school at 12.
I can't remember ever hating any of the books I had to read in school. Seriously.
No. And I feel I probably should try. But I won't.
I have experienced the opposite. I hated Joseph Conrad when I was a teenager and hated him still about 3 years ago (30 years later). It's not that Conrad couldn't write. I found his characters self-indulgent in their wallowing. Particularly Lord Jim.
