Eloquence borne of the Storm

Would that Blogistan could see such eloquence and fine writing all the time, without the impetus of a disaster like Hurricane Katrina to bring it out. Where has the time gone? How do I feel so much closer to 16, than my *not 30* something status of nearly 32?
