Well, it’s not actually a NEW story, as I wrote it nearly ten years ago, but for this site’s purposes, it’s new! I had actually forgotten about it, which is odd considering I actually won a fiction contest with it. I was reminded of it, though, by the recent relevance of President William McKinley in the news.
