Warren Ellis’s mother has died. Condolences to him. Ellis has written quite a few comics that I’ve enjoyed, his websites have been the source of great amusement and/or disgust (when he gives a link that says “Don’t look”, for God’s sake, don’t look), he’s provided me with a lot of fodder for the weekly Burst of Weirdness, and he’s coined what’s become my favorite Net aphorism (“The Internet is made of people”).

I wonder if his mother is now in a better vantage point to get a handle on whatever it is that the Filthy Monkey is planning….
