Well the brushy Roman one was perfect for cleaning out the corners of your tent but the pointy German one was excellent for storing your sliced deli meats before making a sammich in the trenches so this one is a toss up for me.
The German one because of the name. Pickelhaube. If translated literally, that means pimple cap. It never fails to make me giggle.
The deciding factor to me, if it came down to a fight and I didn't have a weapon left, either I would charge them with my spikey helmet or tickle them with the brushy one.
Don't you remember asking this on…OK, I'm kidding!
And I don't know the answer – tossup.
The spikey one as worn by Sgt Schultz brought a kinder gentler face to the Third Reich
One is very phallic, which is always funny, while the other is just funny.
