Depends.
I'd just like to note that my last comment was not intended to express a preference for adult incontinence products over either writing utensil. Nor was it supposed to be a pun, or play on the word "pens." I just meant to say that whether I use a pen or a pencil depends upon what I am writing, and where.
Honest.
pencil. no doubt biased from working on the daughter's homework and by marking up choral music.
I like both but, sadly, I don't use either one very much anymore. We keep a pen by the phone for writing notes. That's just about the only handwriting I do. That's a little sad. Maybe I should start keeping a handwritten journal.
Pens. Not that I'm anti-pencil, I just find myself reaching for and carrying pens more often.
Both but always the pencil first. No amount of creative penwork can save a sloppy composition and composition should always be done in a medium that can be erased.
Pens. Well, markers. Sharpie Ultra Fine Points.
