Sunrise, if I've been up all night. Otherwise, it's too depressing to be up that early.
I like both but I am especially fond of sunrises. A sunrise is a beginning. It means that I have the whole day ahead of me. Sunsets are nice but they just mean that it's getting dark, the day is over and I'm out of time to do all those things I was going to do "today."
My best job ever, was the Summer I was working as a Nurse in the NICU doing overnights (11PM to 7AM). Each morning Nell and I would hold one of the infants and watch the sunrise. Then it was off to a big breakfast and home to sleep. Most days, I would awake to the Sunset. Each day ended and began with the most awe inspiring displays.
Fiddler on the Roof I'm sorry, what was the question?
The only time I see sunrise is in the winter, which I can do without, or when I fly west and i wake at the same time, so it's more special, I suppose. I have seen quite a few sunsets recently.
