Oh gosh… I suppose it would be lame to not pick something from the more distant past, like the original Olympics or something like that, but honestly, I wish I could have been there for New Orleans' Superbowl win. Or any Green Bay win when Brett Favre was in his prime. I can't decide.
Perhaps it says something about me or mayhaps it is a statement of the age I live in. Regardless, I would probably prefer to watch the event on a television or my laptop than attend in person. I don't have to worry about bad food, traffic/chariot jams, or any of the other issues that go along with attending a sporting event in person. Additionally, I have control over the event when watching it at home; I can rewind, adjust the angle of view, etc. 🙂
