Something for Thursday

I’m not a big fan of country music, but there are a smattering of country songs that I like a great deal. Here’s one of them: “Every Which Way But Loose”, by Eddie Rabbitt.

(And yes, I like the movie with Clint Eastwood and the monkey.)

    My mom listened to a lot of country in the ’70s and early ’80s, so I always tend to associate songs of that period with happy childhood memories. I loathe modern country — pretty much everything from Garth Brooks forward — but Eddie Rabbitt, Kenny Rogers, Crystal Gayle, and Alabama always make me smile.
