Film composer Maurice Jarre died earlier this week, so it is fitting that I devote this week’s Something for Thursday to him. I didn’t like the movie, but the score is beautiful. Here, from Dead Poets Society, is “Keating’s Triumph”.
Thanks for the music, Maestro Jarre.

I saw this news on BBC’s website on Monday morning, and SMSed my boss, who was meeting with one of our clients in Beijing at the time. My message was “JMJ’s father has passed away.” The client is close to Jean-Michel Jarre. –A weird connection to a pair of talented chaps.
