I assume that this is a pretty good performance of Ravel’s Bolero. As seems to always be the case with this work, I check out about eight minutes in because that’s about all I can stand of it.

All I can say is Bolero is just better live than in a recording. I got free tickets to the Albany Symphony Orchestra because he couldn't stand that piece. I succumbed to its intricate, insidious effect.
