Please! At the airing of the original broadcast, I decided that this is where ST:TNG jumped the shark. (Close second, Wesley being sentenced to death for frolicking on the grass.)
There is not, IMHO, alot of emotion that can be expressed through a penny whistle, even if one is a starship captain.
