Yeah, the usual disclaimer: a busy week full of activity has led to a day’s delay. I don’t have a great deal to say about this song, so just listen to it. On the Richard Pryor series in the 1970s, the Pips sang this sans Gladys. The camera would pan to her empty mic. It was one of the funniest things I ever saw on TV.
