Blogroll Amnesty Day

Jon Swift is spearheading Blogroll Amnesty Day, but with a reversal of the original idea, which was coined by Atrios as “Permission to Delete Any Blog You Want From Your Blogroll Day”, about a year or so ago. Not a big deal, if you’re one of the highly-trafficked blogs removed from blogrolls, but a big deal indeed if you’re a small fish.

(And then there’s me, who’s the blog equivalent of plankton.)

Anyhow, Mr. Swift took exception to that and reverse the intent, and now Blogroll Amnesty Day is when you’re supposed to give link love to other, smaller blogs. So I’ll be doing that, but a day late, as this week’s installment of Sentential Links. But anyone who wants to appear on my blogroll can drop a link in comments to this post.

(Ironically, I just discovered today’s Blogroll Amnesty Day event whilst in the course of…purging my blogroll. It had been a while since I’d done so, and I needed to remove quite a few inactive blogs.)
