I just love TV meteorologist euphemisms. The latest one to catch my ear is “Unsettled”, as in, “The weather this weekend looks unsettled.” Is there any line of work that has more ways of saying “We don’t know what the hell is gonna happen” than meteorology? (Economics doesn’t count, because I’ve never yet heard an economist say “I don’t know what the hell is gonna happen”. They always think they know. Yeah, we know they don’t know. But not them.)
