Yes, I’m doing some redressing of the blog today! It’s a work in progress, so as of THIS writing, not all details are set. I’ve been finding the old layout increasingly clunky with too much un-updated stuff hanging about, so I want to tidy it up and make it look better. Stay tuned!
Brief note on comments
Ten Thousand
Erk….
Wow, I’ve been neglecting the blog, haven’t I? Yes, I’ve been busy. No, I’m not sick. No, I’m not trapped under a refrigerator. Yes, it’s my usual reason: Momentum on the novel-in-progress, plus some very busy days at The Store, plus some extracurricular stuff like school concerts and a training class for the dee-oh-gee.
My usual regularly irregular posting habits will resume, I promise! And I know I still owe a bunch of Ask Me Anything replies. Hold on, folks!

Quick Note on Comments
Hey Readers,
Even though I have comment moderation turned on, I get a notice at my email every time a comment is left, which is why I’m usually able to approve them relatively quickly. Once in a while, though, I notice that some comments come along that do not get sent to me by email, so the only way I know they’re there is to see them next time I log into Blogger. There’s been a small uptick in this sort of thing over the last week, so if you notice your comments are languishing longer than usual, that’s why.
Now, if you’ll excuse me, I gotta start Christmas shopping. (Yes. I said “start”. Oy!)

A Very Public Service Message
Unlurkify thyselves!
I haven’t done this in a while, so here goes: it’s Delurking Week! Say something. For the next few days I’ll open things up to anonymous comments (although if spammers start swarming, I may need to cut things off early). I’ll still leave the moderation on and CAPTCHA thingie on, though. One can’t be too careful.
Say hello!
(No politics, please — just spread some good cheer. Thanks!)

(A corollary)
As regards the next post down below this one, I’ll be posting sporadically for the rest of this week…but Ask Me Anything! is still coming, so get some questions in, folks! I’ll start doing those next week.
