In comments to this post, Lynn Sislo specifically requests a particular photo, and I aim to please at least part of the readership (at the risk of hopelessly annoying another part of the readership). So here are The Wife and I. This was taken, if memory serves, last Thanksgiving night, after we got home from dinner at my parents’ home. The Wife tells me that she’s often getting comments from people to the effect that when they meet me, I’m not what they expected in a husband for her. In yesterday’s roundup of sentential links, I linked a blog with the sentential title, “It’s Ok to Show Bum Crack”, adding that the title caught my eye because it hit on a particular phobia of mine, by which I mean, I am always paranoid about, well, whether my shirt is remaining tucked in the back, because I hate that well-known malady that is known to afflict members of the plumbing profession. And in comments to that post, Lynn Sislo, ever the quick one, asks: “Oh! Is that why you wear overalls?” Well, in terms of practicality, yes, it is! TheDown the rabbit hole….

In the couple of years I’ve been blogging, I’ve seen this particular theme executed occasionally, and as always, I finally figured, hey, why not. So hey, why not. One hundred things about me. (Hey, at least I never did a “Friday Five”.) After all, what’s a blog without a little narcissistic navel-gazing? (And as is my usual wont with blog-memes that specify a certain number of entries, I exceed the required total a bit. Some of this stuff will likely not be surprising to any longtime readers.) 1.
