A Random Wednesday Conversation Starter

OK, time for a hypothetical thought experiment kind of thing!

Name two musicians whom you would love to hear in a duet together. The catch? Both must be dead, and have never (to a reasonable degree of confidence in knowledge) performed together in their lifetimes. My choice? John Lennon and John Denver.

    George Harrison and Miles Davis. Both experimented with their music.

    It's still early. That was my early morning, spur-of-the-moment, top-of-my-head thought.

    Michael – Patsy did tour with John in 1962, including at the Hollywood Bowl, so I have a difficult time thinking they never sang together.

    Without a recording to know for sure, I figured it was worth dreaming about, but I probably wasn't thinking very far outside the box.

    Sticking with the Cash family, how's about June Carter Cash and Bing Crosby?
