It seems that every time I read a news item about the current economic growth in the United States, such growth is attributed mostly to “increased productivity” — as in, employers are simply making their current employees get more done as opposed to hiring more workers. Therefore, it seems to me that the way to getting some real hiring going on is to start chipping away at productivity.
In that spirit, I direct all you working stiffs to this batch of Java-enabled goodness.
And if your boss fires you for too much of this stuff, at least tell him or her that there’s a blogger in Buffalo who needs a job, won’t you? Thanks!
