There is a blog devoted entirely to a minor league baseball team in Kansas City. I haven’t read much of it yet, but just the concept sounds interesting. My all-time favorite National Geographic article was about minor-league baseball, which is a fascinating world of its own — a mix of up-and-coming talent and guys who have nothing more to play for than their love of the game.

(Buffalo’s a minor-league town, too — we’ve got the AAA Bisons, who are affiliated with the Cleveland Indians.)
