WOW, if you have the money to go out to dinner you have the money to leave a tip. There is a special room in hell for a reason and it's becoming full to overflowing.
When I was working in restaurants (management, not serving), periodically a server would get a tip that looked like a folded-up $20 bill, but when they unfolded it, it was an Evangelical Christian brochure. But at least that had some semblance of honesty about it. This is just someone deciding to be an asshole.
And frankly, if I'm ever dining out and see someone pulling this or something like it, I may well go out and key their car.
God, this makes my blood boil. A note like that is less a rebellion against a president you dislike than a declaration to the world of what a colossal asshole you are.
On a related note, I spotted a billboard here in the SLC area over the weekend offering seminars on how to "keep Obama from taking your inheritance" or some such… what is it with these wealthy sons-of-bitches that makes them so adamantly opposed to actually taking part in the society that's made them so wealthy to start with?
Talk about class warfare…
What do you suppose it cost him to get those printed?
Suddenly I am reminded of when I was in Target the other day looking for a black scarf, as mine seemed to have disappeared into the ether, there was a woman who was ranting about how Obama was taking $30 out of HER paycheck. Wow. Then I started chatting about it with Man Creature and what utter shat she was pewing and the woman heard me. I didn't care.
She says to me "Well, if you're happy givng your money to him, then go right ahead! Some of us can't afford to."
I laughed at her.
Arse.
Well if the person really believes this – they must be making more than 400K per annum – they are the only ones affected – so I guess we are just dealing with a dickhead!
I was a waitress in my youth, so I think it should read, "I'm a cheapskate and an ingrate, so I'm going to use my gripe with tax law to stiff you instead of adequately compensating you. This, unlike certain portions of my anatomy, makes me feel powerful."
Jerk.
