A Random Wednesday Conversation Starter

I had a discussion pop up on a friend’s Facebook page yesterday about this, so I thought I’d toss it to you folks: What do you think of the band Journey, and specifically, the song “Don’t Stop Believin'”? (Personally, I can take or leave the band — they’re OK, but nothing I ever choose to listen to — but that song has become so ubiquitous as to make me groan every time I hear its opening bars!)

    I was largely oblivious to it until Glee. It's OK. It's like wallpaper.

    I could live happily never hearing Journey, especially "Don't Stop Believin'" ever again.

    It's one of those 80s songs that I know all the words to and that I can sing well. Glee ruined it for me too although the first time they did it on that show I was thrilled because it was a song I hadn't seen done by anyone other than Journey is forever.

    I'm a fan, although my favourite is Lovin' Touchin' Squeezin'
