Shamus provides some recommendations for computer games to try out as entry-points. I found this especially helpful, seeing as how my last direct experience with PC gaming was Riven.

This one is good, but did you see Sunday’s Lio Comic strip? It was a send up of FBFW and one panel is Elizabeth telling why she’s not going to end up with Anthony. It’s pretty good. And I figured you’d appreciate it.
