Something for Thursday (the late edition)

Oops. In my defense, I’m on vacation now. Yes, that’s lame, but I’m sticking with it.

When in doubt, it’s best to go with something nicely, easily familiar. Like the “Light Cavalry Overture” by Franz von Suppe, whose overtures have long been a staple of concert repertoire even if the operas themselves likely haven’t been performed in many, many moons.
