That’s a pittance for some, but a nicely big number for me, and since this blog has been around for almost nine years, that means that I’ve had a little less than 66,666 hits a year. Cool! I’ll be spending some quality time with The Family over the next few days — first just with The Wife, as my parents take The Daughter for two nights, and then with all of us for the rest of the weekend. I’ve set this post to publish at about the same time I’m getting up today: 3:00 am. This is because of a bunch of jobs at The Store that need doing, which have to be done very early before the associated departments start doing their thing (i.e., before they start handling food). The extra money associated with the overtime will be nice, but 3:00 am is just an awful time to get up.
