It’s Costume Season! I saw this creative one on Facebook this morning:
Got any plans to do the costume thing this Halloween? And if so, what’s the costume? If not, what’s the best costume you’ve ever seen?

Oh, I love that! Most people around here wouldn't get it. The scary thing is, I would wear that outfit, without the face paint and frames, on just any ordinary day. (if it had pockets)
I don't ever dress up for Halloween. I don't go to parties and we don't get any trick-or-treaters so there's really not much reason for me to wear a costume. I know this will shock a lot of people but I'm not really into Halloween anyway.
The Daughter wants me to do a costume this year. I'm not really inspired to do so, but I could be cajoled.
Not this year. A friend who is known for her annual Halloween party isn't feeling up to it this year so we'll be staying home. I'm not really into costuming anyway, but the one your posted is great!
I'm on the fence. I wore one last year and got a lot of positive reactions, but this year, Halloween is Saturday (therefore not teaching) and I am debating if it would be too weird to wear a costume to class the day before.
That said, I kind of want to dress up as Baby Groot if I can figure out a way to do the plant pot. And then insert a couple of slides in my lecture at the beginning with data and stuff on them and just "I am Groot" as words.
But I don't know if that's too weird. I come across as pretty square in class so it might be too much for the students.
