I can't think of any battle I'd care to witness (not into war and killing), but I would love to see President Lincoln deliver the Gettysburg Address.
Battle of Thermopylae – I would like to watch the Spartans save Western civilization.
The battle of the United States, a coup d'eta better known as the Kennedy Assassination.
I would love to witness the point where our country turned into an enormous federal dictate who saw as its mission to be the worlds police force, bank and moral authority.
I wouldn't. I'm not one of those people who bemoans the fact that food comes in plastic wrapped Styrofoam trays, but I do think that for most of us death and violence have become too vague a reality. Consider that Gettysburg at least 7,863 were killed. That's half the population of Depew, to pick a random WNY town. A battle is a slaughterhouse. By accident of birth I avoided Vietnam. I wouldn't change that.
Not a chance I'd want to be there.
