Your position on LOLCats: totally annoying, often hilarious, or occasionally funny but mostly overused?

(My own take is the third option here…lots of ’em are unfunny, but sometimes I see one that cracks me up. Like this one:

The look on the lioness’s face just makes this all kinds of hilarious, for me.)

I usually skim over LOL cats (unless they come from that captioning genius, Cal at the Cave of Cool) but this one struck my funny bone hard enough to fracture it!

Occasionally funny but the deliberate misspellings are really, extremely irritating to me.

Usually don't bother me but sometimes I get into a mood about them, particularly when certain people I know who like pets more than people send me them or post them on Facebook. (Wrote about it here: http://shoreoforion.blogspot.com/2012/04/going-postal-over-lolcats.html )

A certain LOLcat lover posted on Memorial Day one about how we should remember "doggie soldiers, too!" Made me want to point out that dog is supposedly delicious roasted, as our president can attest. 😉

I love the creativitiy of taking an interesting animal picture and trying to capture the moment in a humorous wasy. I like to think I am better at it than most and I have stop caring that others hate them…in fact I revel in the fact that I am annoying people while entertaining myself so much.
