  1. You mentioned before that you are not crazy about Verdi's four seasons. What work would be best for the novice to listen to in order to fully appreciate Verdi.

  2. A bit of correction here: "Four Seasons" is by Vivaldi, the baroque composer. Verdi is a Romantic-era composer of opera. "Four Seasons" is as good as anything Vivaldi wrote, I suppose — I'm not a fan of his.
