Tone Poem Tuesday

It’s quite a busy day here at Casa Jaquandor, which means posting something I know well without a great deal of commentary. So, here’s one of my least favorite pieces ever…but hey, maybe you love it, and I’m here to please. Enjoy!

i probably mentioned this before. Friends of mine who had tickets for the Albany Symphony Orchestra gave us their tickets because the guy HATED Bolero. I find it better in person than on a recording, even a live recording.

There wasn’t ANYTHING on the program that could get him to sit through Bolero anyway? I mean, I don’t like it, but it’s only 15 minutes. If it’s on the program with, say, Rachmaninov’s Second and a Mozart piano concerto, I’d be fine!

And I LOVE watching musicians and especially this conductor so enjoying themselves.
